Professor Peiyue Li

Professor  Peiyue Li is a distinguished hydrogeologist and environmental scientist, currently serving as a full professor and Vice Dean of the School of Water and Environment at Chang’an University in China. He obtained his Ph.D. in Groundwater Science and Engineering in 2014 at Chang’an University. His research focuses on environmental hydrogeology and water resources in arid regions. Prof. Li has led over 30 research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 260 peer-reviewed papers. He has also co-authored 16 books. He has been continuously recognized as an Elsevier China Highly Cited Scholar since 2021. Prof. Li holds several national talent titles, including the National Ten Thousand Talents Plan and the Young Changjiang Scholar. He is the recipient of the Shaanxi Provincial Natural Science First Prize. Actively engaged in the academic community, he serves as an Associate Editor for Exposure and Health, Mine Water and the Environment, Human and Ecological Risk Assessment, Archives of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology, Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, Applied Water Science, Water Practice & Technology, and Discover Water, and serves as Series Editor for Springer Hydrogeology, Cave and Karst Systems of the World, Advances in Karst Science, and GeoHealth: The Impact of Geology on Environment and Human Health.
